What's your stars says about your Ideal Decor

Everybody does something a little differently when it comes to home decor. Some hang antique crystals from their chandeliers, while others favour a Star Wars theme; some like pastels, while for others only black and white will do. How does your star sign affect the way you go about feathering your nest?

Need a little help finding the perfect style for your home? Have a look and see what your ideal decor is according to the stars.

Aries
Aries is the quintessential minimalist. They tack an abstract canvas onto the wall, throw a pillow on the ground and call it a living room. They sleep on the ground and cook in a single pot. And they look so good doing it that visitors wonder if they should go minimalist, too.

Taurus
The sheets are satin. The duvet is velvet. The bathrobe is plush. The towels are super high-thread count. When Taurus decorates, they go all the way. The luxury-loving Bull doesn't cut any corners when it comes to their home, and it shows.

Gemini
Gemini's just as happy camping in the woods as they are in a bubble bath at a five-star hotel. When it comes to their own home, the Twins do a little of both. The kitchen's deluxe, the bathroom's an outhouse, and the bedroom - well, it's somewhere in between.

Cancer
Cancer wants a safe haven to come home to. The Crab puts an antique side table next to a comfy blue couch, and accents the whole thing with an elegant, modern lamp. Not too much clutter, but not exactly Spartan, either - that's what Cancer aims for.

Leo
Leo is all about the bedroom. It's their favourite place to be (especially if they aren't alone!), so that's where they put their bed, their desk, their computer and their clothes. If they could, they'd plug in a hotplate next to their pillow! But the Lion would do better to keep the bedroom reserved for bedroom activities only.

Virgo
Virgo calls in a Feng Shui expert to make sure they've got their blonde-wood bed in the right position. They call in a carpet cleaner to keep their white wall-to-wall carpet clean. They have a mood expert choose the curtain's colours. The Virgin likes everything ship-shape, which is why they may go with a nautical theme.

Libra
Libra can't decide if the rug should be red and the walls should be blue, or if the walls should be red and the rug should be blue. In the end, they paint stripes in both colors and leave the wood floors bare. It may just be indecisive, but it certainly comes off looking creative.

Scorpio
Scorpio goes for drama: A life-size replica of the David in the foyer, an immense velvet painting in the living room, gold satin sheets in the bedroom. The bathroom includes marble and grand mirrors - but there might not be any toilet paper.

Sagittarius
Sagittarius fills their pad with tokens of their travels: tribal art in the kitchen, a stuffed alligator next to the tub. Some people might be afraid to take a bath next to a stuffed alligator, but Sagittarius doesn't want them as guests, anyway.

Capricorn
Capricorn always wants to be on the top floor, where the views are best. The Goat places a lot of value on good lighting, night and day, so the curtains are sheer and the lamps are numerous. The only thing that's a little odd is the herb garden that takes up all the counter space in the kitchen.

Aquarius
Aquarius's house is filled with books: shelves line the walls, and more are piled next to the bed, on top of cabinets, and under the sofa. The Water Bearer only needs to begin worrying when all these books begin to crowd out room for guests.

Pisces
Pisces needs everything to be just right: the windows have to be large and allow in lots of light; the bed must be soft and yet pleasantly firm; the sofa should be pristine; and the carpets have to be luxurious and Oriental. Otherwise, the Fish just isn't comfortable.
