The auspicious five-day festival of lights, Diwali is one of the major festivals in India celebrated throughout the nation with great enthusiasm. People decorate their homes with attractive rangoli and lit diyas. Diwali is belief to be the festival that brings wealth and prosperity. Here are a few last minute vastu tips that will help you invite wealth on this Diwali.

Goddess Laxmi only enters in a clean house. The environment in and around the house should be clean to improve the flow of positive energy.

The house should be properly lit and no corner should be left in darkness on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

The small footprints meant to welcome Goddess Laxmi should always show the inward movement in the house.

The toran should be hanged on the door and made with leaves of mango, kaner, peepal, ashok trees. It keeps all negative energy at bay.

The main door should be clean and not make any creaking voice. There should be a swastika on the door step.

All diyas should be placed in multiples of four representing Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesh, Lord Kuber and Lord Indra.

Lord Ganesha should be kept on the left side of the Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati should be placed on the right side of Goddess Lakshmi.

Lakshmi pooja should be conducted in the Northern corner of the house.

The rangoli should be created in the Southeast corner of the house to invite prosperity and wealth.

Symbols like Swastik, Om, Rangoli decorations should be put on the North or East walls of the housee

Light two earthen diyas on both the sides of the main entrance door on Diwali evening.

Floating candles should be placed with rose petals in the centre of the house for the flow of positive air in the house.
