The evergreen beautiful wonder of nature, plant has a special position in Vastu Shastra. A healthy plant not only affect us physically but emotionally too. One should be careful while designing the garden. Plants if are not Vaastu compliant could adversely affect peace and prosperity.

Here are a few Vastu Tips for trees that will help bring good luck and prosperity.

The Tulsi plant should be grown in the North, East and North-east direction of the house. You may also plant it in the front or back side of the house.

Flowering plants like Rose, Marigold, and Jasmine etc emanate positive energy and should be grown around the house especially in the South-west corner of the house. Fruit plants should be grown in the East of the house.

Thorny plants like Cactus spread negative energy and should not be grown inside. Also Bonsai should be avoided inside the house.

Money plant and Bamboo plant bring good luck and prosperity and should be kept inside the house.

Crawling plants should be grown near the entrance and made sure that they do not cross the boundary wall.

Sacred trees like Banyan and Peepal tree should not be grown near the house.

Tall trees like Coconut can be planted in the South-West and West corner.

Trees that attract insects, worms, honey bees, bumble bee, owls, serpents, should be avoided.
