Vastu Tips for Guest Room in the house

Atithi Devo Bhava... has been deep rooted in Indian culture. We welcome guests with great warmth and treat them as a part of our family. Vastu is of special significance when it comes to constructing and placing the guest room so that it does not bother the peace and stability of the house. Here are a few such tips.

The ideal direction for the guest room is the northwest direction of the house. You may also plan it in the agneya corner or the southeast corner of the house.

The northeast door should face east direction, northeast door should face north direction, southeast door should face south direction and northwest door should face west direction.

If the guest room is situated at the northwest corner, there should be a window at northeast corner. If it faces the east, the window should be towards the west.

The guest room should not be constructed in the southwest direction of the house otherwise it may have a negative impact on the household.

The bathroom should be constructed inside the guest room itself. If the guest room is situated at northwest corner or southeast corner, plan the toilet at southwest corner.

Keep drinking water at night for the guest. Change the bed spreads when guest occupies the room and arrange for other essentials.
