Untold Tale of Radha after Krishna left for Vrindavan

Krishna gladdens the world, but Radha gladdens Krishna! Radha is Krishna`s eternal consort. They played, danced, fought, grew up together and wanted to be together forever. But gruesome situations pulled them apart.

Lord Krishna had to leave Vrindavan to kill Kansa and safeguard the virtues of truth. He killed his enemies and later became the king of Dwarka and married Rukmini and Satyabhama. But what happened to Radha?

Although it is not clearly mentioned in mythological literature, many beliefs and theories have been put out. Here are a few of those:

Theory 1: Radha is considered an incarnation of Goddess Laxmi and so is Rukmini. Thus many believe that Radha in her later phase got expanded into Rukmini and married Lord Krishna.

Theory 2: In the last meeting of the two eternal souls Radha and Krishna, Radha promised not to get involved with His later life. It was at the occasion of a total solar eclipse when Krishna came face to face with Radha for the last time. Only tears flowed from their eyes as they stood staring stonily at each other till all the thoughts were exhausted and the eyes were dry.

Theory 3: Radha married Krishna secretly in Vrindavan Forest. Though she didn’t see Krishna later in her life again she never married again.

Theory 4: Radha married Abhimanyu, the son of Jatila, a Yadav. However, what forced her to marry him remains unexplained.

Theory 5: After Krishna left for Vrindavan, her parents decided to get her married. As a sincere daughter, she too obliged and married god fearing person called Chandrasena.
